SHWC members meet at least once annually to hold a "membership meeting". This meeting is held on the third Wednesday of May each year at a location to be announced. The 2012 annual meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Heth Washington Elementary School gymnasium on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 7:00PM. A public notice of the meeting will be made in the Corydon Democrat prior to the meeting. Business conducted at the meeting includes a business review of 2011, a financial report of 2011, and the election of three members to serve on the SHWC Board of Directors. Door prizes are given away and refreshments are served.

The 2008 annual meeting (35th meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 21st at the New Middletown Elementary School.
The 2007 annual meeting (34th meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 16th at the South Central School Auditorium.
The 2006 annual meeting (33rd meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 17th at the Heth Washington Elementary School.
The 2005 annual meeting (32nd meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 18th at the New Middletown Elementary School.
The 2004 annual meeting (31st meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 19th at the South Central High School Auditorium.
The 2003 annual meeting (30th meeting) was held at 7:00PM, Wednesday May 21st at the Heth Washington Elementary School.
